The Shul typically holds Community Friday night dinners once a month (summer months excepted), after services. These are warm sit-down meals held in our social hall. For Sukkot, we eat outside in our sukkah! The food, which comes from one of the Kosher caterers in Brookline, is excellent. Vegetarian meals are available on prior notice, and we try to have some kid’s food as well.
We generally try to schedule our dinners to coincide with Shabbats when we have one of our rabbis in attendance. We generally have stimulating discussions over dinner on a topic chosen by the rabbi.
Our Friday night dinners are warm communal events that people really enjoy being a part of. Try it some time and you’ll agree!
