Make A Havdalah Candle Explore Mysticism & Rituals

February 7 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Make A Havdalah Candle and Explore the Mysticism & Rituals
behind this Jewish practice.

Rabbinic intern, Hannah , will be your guide to transition from Shabbat to setting a positive intention for  the new week.
Explore the mysticism and ritual behind this time honored Jewish practice with your Jewish community in downtown Boston.
The heart of winter beckons us to cozy up with our Jewish friends  for a hands-on Havdalah candle making workshop.  Explore Jewish mysticism, and meaningful connection.

We’ll begin by crafting our own multi-wick Havdalah candles, weaving in fragrant herbs and natural elements to create a candle you can take home and use in your own ritual practice.
Along the way, we’ll explore the
mystical and spiritual significance of the Havdalah ritual—why light, scent, and light
are so central to marking the transition from Shabbat into the new week.

The evening will also include:

  • A relaxed Havdalah experience & practice
  • Warm drinks, snacks, and winter vibes
  • Games and casual conversation with other Jewish young professionals

No prior knowledge or crafting experience needed—just come ready to create, learn, and unwind.

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTER BY JANUARY 28TH TO SECURE YOUR HAVDALAH CANDLE MAKING KIT
after the January 28th the registration ticket adjusts in price to reflect participation without a kit. Come to the event anyway for the ritual, crafting, games
and Jewish winter vibe.
