Event Details:
- Thursday, October 29 6:00 PM Meet at the MFA for casual get together with optional dinning and schmooze at New American Cafe | in the Ruth & Carl J Shapiro courtyard| level 1 before heading to the exhibit hall.
- 7:00 PM: Head to the exhibit gallery for a Curated Talk: Rembrandt and the Jews of Amsterdam | Led by Michael Weingarten, a dedicated historian, Boston Synagogue board member, and author of two fascinating books chronicling our community: History of The Boston Synagogue 1888-2013: A 125th Anniversary Celebration and Preservation, Intrigue and Property: Dissolving Boston’s Vilna Shul Congregation 1985-2001.
- 7:30 PM: Explore the MFA’s special exhibition, Reality and Imagination: Rembrandt and the Jews in the Dutch Republic, alongside other museum galleries at your own pace.
