BackRoom Boston & The Boston Festival of New Jewish Music presents: Tsvey Brider + Baymele

Join us for this incomparable concert featuring Anthony Mordechai Tzvi Russell with Dmitri Gaskin & Baymele!

Enjoy this very special opportunity to see one of our generation’s great Yiddish singers here in Boston before he moves to Atlanta later in the summer!

This performance includes original & stylistically diverse settings of 20th century Yiddish modernist poetry. Gaskin’s arrangements for voice & string ensemble with Matthew Stein (fiddle) & Misha Khalikulov (cello) of the klezmer band Baymele, bring a whole new world of sound, texture & color to the work of Tsvey Brider.
