DESCRIPTION:ELECTRIC HORA: Boston’s Klezmer Dance Series!\nIt’s time for ELECTRIC HORA\, Boston’s best klezmer dance series\, featuring a rotating cast of the top dance leaders and klezmer musicians from across New England \nThis month\, we are incredibly lucky to be joined by one of the great luminaries of the Klezmer Revival: Judy Bressler! Judy will lead dancing alongside the crackerjack band. You don’t want to miss this one.\nTuesday\, October 27th at the Boston Synagogue. Hope to see you there!\nJudy Bressler is a founding member of the Klezmer Conservatory Band and is the featured vocalist on all 10 of their CDs. A third generation Yiddish performer\, she can be seen in the PBS documentary A Jumpin’ Night In The Garden Of Eden and was featured with Joel Grey in Borscht Capades ’94. She creates performances\, workshops\, and rituals that forefront the role of the body in political\, social and spiritual action.
