Lev Shalem Siddur

As of January 2022, The Synagogue Board decided that it was time to change siddurs. We are now using the beautiful & inspiring Lev Shalem (“A Full Heart”) siddur published by the Conservative Rabbinical Assembly.

In addition to the terrific modern English translation, it combines tradition with historical wisdom, & illuminating discussions & commentary on the different prayers.  We think you will enjoy it!

We strive to offer many gateways to Jewish life, learning, & fun — whether you’re engaging in discussion with our Rabbinic Intern at weekly Shabbat Services or attending one of our many Holiday Celebrations. We have partially resumed our monthly Friday Night Dinners with our Rabbi-in-Residence.

We encourage people to participate in our vibrant downtown community.

For those of you participating via Zoom, we will screen share a PDF copy of Lev Shalem on Saturday mornings & holidays (excluding High Holidays). We will continue to use our small maroon book for Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday nights.

For those of you who would like to own your own physical copy, the Synagogue purchased additional copies. They are for sale @$50.

You can also make a donation of $50, per book, to help defray the synagogue’s not-inconsiderable purchase cost. Donors may choose to have their siddur inscribed with a bookplate with their name or in honor of/in memory of a loved one along with their own name.
