Celebrate  Family Shabbat!

There is nothing more powerful than hearing the ancient melodies of our people sung by the voices of our children.
Join the Boston Synagogue Families, our Hebrew School students  for a Shabbat  that celebrates our shared heritage.
Led by our wonderful instructor, Rafi Mayer.  These services are designed to be relevant, accessible, and—most importantly—deeply enjoyable for families and kids.

Friday Evening: Welcoming Shabbat (June 5th 2026)

  • 6:30 PM: We begin with a family-friendly service. Rafi will guide the children as they step into their roles as ritual leaders, helping to bring the prayers and songs of our ancestors to life. Services are free to attend.
  • Dinner follows services: The joy continues at the table! Following the service, we’ll share a kid friendly food and adult dinner and beverages.    It’s a time to relax, connect with other Jewish families and experience the simple beauty of being part of the downtown, Boston, Jewish community. Reservations and tickets required for dinner RSVP by Wednesday, June 3rd 2026.

Saturday Morning: (June 6th 2026)

10:00 AM: Shabbat morning service is a special moment for our kids and families to lead  the prayers they’ve been learning, exploring Torah stories and the sacred rhythms of Shabbat morning together.
Festive Kiddush follows services.

What Makes This Shabbat Special?
