Commemorate Tisha B’Av with Rabbi Navah

Join us on the evening of Tisha b’Av, \the 9th day of the month of Av. On this day we fast, & mourn various tragedies which befell our people, starting with the destruction of Temple in Jerusalem & the loss of the ancient Jewish state.

Throughout history, other calamities which befell the Jewish people have been commemorated on this date, such as the expulsions from England & Spain, numerous pogroms. In contemporary times, Tisha b’Av became a date (alongside Yom Hashoah) on which we mourn the loss of our 6 million, murdered in the Holocaust. And now, the hostages.

While on this day we grapple with despair as we try to make sense of these horrors — we also seek a vision of hope for the future.

Join us for somber evening services & observations on the significance of this day, followed by the chanting of Eicha/Lamentations in English & Hebrew.
