Hidden Heritage: Jewish Influence in Music for the Stage

Did you know many of opera, operetta, and musical theater’s greatest works were created by Jewish composers and librettists?
Join us for an afternoon concert enjoying, and celebrating the surprising Jewish heritage behind beloved vocal music that you know!
This concert, presented in collaboration between Backroom Boston and West End Lyric, features the talents of admired Boston-based musicians: sopranos Jessica Bloch-Moisand, Julia Pottinger, and Hannah Shanefield, mezzo-soprano Becca Allen, and pianist Tristan Leung.
Reception with light bites and open bar follows the performance.
