Rosh Chodesh signifies the renewal of the moon and the start of a new month. According to tradition, it was a reward to women for their devotion and wisdom during the Exodus and their refusal to participate in the creation of the Golden Calf. Instead, they eagerly contributed their gold and jewelry to help build the Mishkan (Tabernacle)!
Join us to celebrate the new month with meaningful discussions that explore Jewish wisdom, traditions, rituals, and blessings to honor Rosh Chodesh. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect and foster a supportive community— along with snacks and wine!
What to Expect:
Thoughtful discussions on Jewish wisdom and traditions
Rituals and blessings to honor the new month
Opportunities to connect and build a supportive community
Snacks and wine — holiday Jewish food as appropriate served
We can’t wait to celebrate with you and have you join our community of Jewish women. There’s just one difference between this and a free ticket: your donation keeps the CIRCLE going! Our events are always free to attend but are not free to produce. We put your donations straight into the next CIRCLE to keep connecting Jewish women every month. When you register on Event Brite it helps to plan how many handouts to print and how much food and beverages to have available.
